BILLINGS is excited to present our Winter 2025 Modern Design Auction. This sale is an eclectic mix spanning every era of design from machine age to contemporary. Included are items by post-war icons Charles Eames, George Nelson and Walter Lamb. along side post-modern masters Ettore Sottsass, Peter Shire and Matteo Thun. California craft is well represented with designs ranging from Dole Lane and Raul Coronel, to Alma Allen and Adam Silverman. Europe is included with collection of hard to find pieces by Pierre Jeanneret as well as a broad range of lots from Italy, France, Denmark, and Sweden.

Table: mahogany, reverse-painted glass; chairs: stained chestnut, vinyl. Made in Italy.

Condition

Fair vintage condition, overall. Table base with moderate wear and seam separation throughout, including scratches and scuffing from the chairs hitting it. Reverse-painted glass is in excellent condition. Chairs with moderate wear throughout, mainly in the form of scratches, scuffing and finish loss. Original vinyl upholster is in very good condition.
